High in essential fatty acids
For arthritis & inflammation and internal use
Emu oil is one of the highest natural sources of omegas 3 & 6 - Essential Fatty Acids (EFA). These are critical to the health of all animals. These are required to help regulate inflammation, aid in the healthy development of eye and brain health, while decreasing inflammation, skin issues, joint disease and arthritis. Omega 6, on the other hand supports healthy growth, reproduction and reduces inflammation.
Fatty acid deficiency can lead to a myriad of issues, such as delayed wound healing, joint issues, dry and unhealthy coats and poor general skin health.
With little-to-no taste, emu oil can be easily introduced into your pet’s food to boost these essential fatty acids plus all the other vitamins & nutrients it has to offer.

Instructions for use
Topically:
For skin, joint and muscle issues, heat the oil up by squeezing a small amount onto your hands and rubbing together. Liberally apply to affected skin, joints and sore muscles. Can be applied up to 3 times daily. For minor skin issues and general skin/coat health, you can add a few drops to your pet's shampoo and wash according to shampoo instructions. We still recommend spot testing the oil on your pet’s skin and waiting 24 hours for any reaction before applying it to a larger area.
Internally:
For general health maintenance add ¼ teaspoon of oil per 10kg of body weight to your pet's food once daily. If your pet suffers from inflammation of the joints & muscles, arthritis or stomach & digestive issues, add ¼ teaspoon of oil per 10kg of body weight to your pet’s food twice daily. Build this up over a few days to ensure they don’t have a reaction and give this higher dose for 5-7 days. Then you can reduce the amount of oil based on the improvement of your pet’s symptoms.
Frequently asked questions

Although it will not harm your animal, the PH level is not suitable for their skin like it is for humans. This means it is not as effective. We have plans in the future to develop some pet-specific coat/fur products - sign up to our newsletter to be notified when these are released.
